An artist proof is a card that Wizards of the Coast prints off before the cards go to print to make sure everything is correct on the front. They are not tournament legal as they do not have a traditional back, and as such are intended for collectors only. The back of the card is white, which is popularly used as a place for a custom sketch by the artist. Robbie will sign inside the word box in black ink. A sketch of Robbie’s choosing on the back of a card is available for an additional fee of $100.
